I Hate Titles

I think I'm going to drop my major in Criminology. I don't like it as much as I thought I would. Plus, if I do I can graduate in the spring of next year with a major in Psychology and a minor in Middle East Studies. Dropping Crim also means I can drop my Adv. Crim class and have more time to work. By the way, I got a job at JCPenney in the mall. I am basically going to rearrange the store at the end of the day to get ready for the next day. I'm pretty sure (about 98%) that I'm going to go to Rome this summer. Charles is still trying to decide if he wants to go or if he wants to do an internship in DC. I think that might be all my news. Love you, goodnight.

Hello All

I haven't updated in a while, I've been really busy. So here's the rundown: Arabic is kicking my butt, not really because its hard, just time consuming and its screwing up my handwriting. For those of you who don't know, Arabic is written from right to left. I've been in other classes taking notes left to right, like most English speakers, and I will suddenly start writing right to left. That just isn't supposed to happen. Plus, I had horrible writing to begin with so this is not helping. I went to a meeting Friday about a study abroad trip to Rome this summer. I really want to go but it will cost me around $5000. I would have to get a loan to be able to pay for it. I'd be there for about a month, from the end of May until the end of June. I'd get 6 credit hrs. that are required for graduation, 3 of them count toward a minor in Middle East Studies which I also get credit for in Arabic, so that means I only need to take 2 more classes to get that minor. That would make me a double(possibly triple) major and double minor and I'd still be able to graduate at least a semester early. Anyway, I really want to go to Rome, I know both of the professors who are leading the trip and they are both really good. They also told us that because the classes are only Monday through Thursday we will have time to travel over the weekends. They said that students in the past have gone to Naples, Tuscany, Capri, Florence, Venice, Switzerland, and a dozen other places on the weekends. How amazing is that? Back to the U.S., in my Advanced Criminology class, we were assigned a 50-80 page paper over the ten major theories of criminology. We have to write what the theory states, the key concepts of the theory, the strengths and weaknesses of the theory and to conclude we have to write which theory we think is the most accurate and why. It isn't due until Thanksgiving so it won't be hard, just really time consuming and intimidating. That is all I can think of right now, I'm pretty sure there is more but its 2am and I am tired so, Goodnight.
